Our story
Two printers, one small shop
Pennant Prints is Hana Pennant and Sam Okafor. We met at art school and started printing in a garden shed in 2016.
The shop opened on the High Street in 2019, with the studio behind it. Every print is designed and printed by one of us.
We print in runs of fifty, so most designs sell out and do not come back. If you love one, do not wait.

How we make it
By hand, one colour at a time
Every print goes through the same three steps in the studio behind the shop.

Step 1: Drawn
Every design starts as a pencil drawing, then is cut into layers, one for each colour.

Step 2: Printed
We pull each colour through a silk screen by hand, and let it dry overnight before the next.

Step 3: Signed
Each print is checked, signed and numbered, then wrapped in recycled card.

A three colour print takes three days. The ink is water based, and so is the clean up.

We coat and expose our own screens, so a new design can go from drawing to print in a week.

Posted flat or rolled in a tube within two working days, from the shop.
